School Librarian

My client are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Librarian to inspire and support their students in their educational journey.

Role Overview:

As a School Librarian, you will play a crucial role in managing our library resources and promoting a culture of reading and research among students. You will work closely with teachers to support the curriculum and provide a welcoming environment for all library users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organise the library's collection of books, digital resources, and other materials.
• Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources effectively.
• Develop and implement engaging library programs and activities to promote literacy and learning.
• Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and integrate library resources into classroom activities.
• Maintain an inviting and orderly library environment.

Previous experience working in a library setting would be advantageous but not essential.

A DBS is required for the role.
