Mechanical Shift Engineer Moorgate
Salary: From £48,000 - £52,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time 12-hour rotating continental shift rota

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their team in Moorgate. You ll be responsible for maintaining building systems, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned maintenance on mechanical, and HVAC systems along with basic electrical works
• Monitor BMS for alarms and system performance.
• Respond quickly to faults, including A/C issues, plumbing, and drainage repairs.
• Conduct investigations and carry out corrective repairs.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with Facilities Managers and clients.

Requirements:

City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Heating and Ventilation (or equivalent)
Experience in building maintenance
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with CMMS/BMS systems
Team player with good customer service skills

Desirable:

Time-served electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
Experience in critical environments
Familiarity with EVAC drainage systems and ACoPs L8
