Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager at Havas Red, you will be responsible for leading client relationships and driving the execution of integrated content marketing strategies. You will work at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and data to deliver compelling content that resonates with audiences and achieves business objectives.
Key Objectives
- Collaborate with the content strategy and planning team to develop content plans that transform insights (brand, competition, cultural, consumer) into engaging campaigns that attract and retain audiences.
- Manage day-to-day client communications, build excellent client relationships, and ensure strategic alignment with their goals.
- Organize and lead regular WIP meetings, both internally and with clients or partner agencies, to provide updates on project status.
- Maintain and update key client and internal WIP documents regularly.
- Set clear expectations for deliverables, ensuring efficient coordination between clients and internal teams (senior, peer, junior).
- Handle essential account administration, including:
- Job set-up and documentation
- Daily timesheet management
- Document organization and version control
- Budget tracking and financial management support
- Scheduling internal and client team meetings
- Oversee the internal and client-side content approval process to ensure smooth execution.
- Support account reconciliations, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
- Maintain strong collaboration with account teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of content assets, aligning with client expectations and deadlines. Additionally, proactively identify new business opportunities, contribute to pitches, and help grow existing client relationships by recognizing expansion opportunities.
- Oversee the booking of production resources in line with agency processes.
- Develop production timelines and run sheets for social media content shoots.
- Maintain proactive communication with seniors, peers, and juniors across internal and client teams.
- Manage client/stakeholder expectations through clear and timely communication across various channels (email, phone, in-person meetings).
- Stay updated on social media trends, industry insights, and client developments, sharing relevant information with the team. Experience with tools such as Sprinklr, Waldo, Meltwater, Brandwatch, and Google Analytics is essential for this role.
- Continuously develop professional skills and contribute to up-skilling colleagues through internal and external training opportunities.
- Demonstrate a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, identifying potential issues early and proactively working with teams to resolve them.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in social content marketing, preferably within an agency setting.
- Expertise in content strategy, digital marketing, and multi-platform social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in tools such as Sprinklr, Waldo, Meltwater, Brandwatch, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively across creative, strategy, and production teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for design and branding, ensuring content aligns with client brand guidelines.
- Knowledge of SEO, paid social, influencer marketing, and community management is a plus.
