We are seeking Lay Members to join our Accreditation and Recognition panel to review initial education and training provision for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

The role

Accreditation and recognition panel members use their expertise to ensure that education and training programmes and qualifications are fit for purpose, through rigorous application of the GPhC education and training standards, making judgements on the basis of evidence.

We are seeking to recruit individuals with experience of collaborative decision making, who are deft at considering written and verbal evidence in a balanced way and who can apply knowledge and experience to decision making in a fair and transparent manner.

We are seeking individuals who are not registrants of the GPhC or any other health or social care body.

  • Do you have with experience of representing the viewpoint of patients and the public?
  • Do you have experience of participating in evidence-based decision-making taking account of relevant policy, guidance, legislation and best practice?

If so, we encourage you to find out more about this role by reading our application information and role specification, and welcome your application.

Accreditation panel members can expect to be assigned around 3 - 6 accreditation and recognition events per academic year. We are thus interested in applicants located anywhere in Great Britain.
