IBA Specialist / Hybrid / City of London / £40-£45k

Hays are working with an insurance firm who are looking to expand their IBA function. You will play a vital part in managing financial operations related to insurance broking accounts. This position will be reporting to the IBA manager and is a great opportunity to join an experienced finance team in order to make an immediate impact and provide exceptional services to their clients.
Your new role
Be at the forefront of all insurance broking accounting activitiesManage client accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactionsPerform regular reconciliations of client and insurer accounts (bordereaux) whilst identifying and resolving discrepanciesUtilise Excel to analyse financial data, generate reports and support decision-making processesEnsure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, particularly those specific to the Lloyd's of London marketWork closely with the team to identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient and effective solutionsAssist the IBA Manager with various tasks, including financial planning, budgeting, and audit preparationWhat you'll need to succeed - 3+ years experience working within IBA.
- Experience of the Lloyds of London Market
- Strong excel skills
