As a Supply Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across a range of well-run schools throughout Hillingdon, including areas such as Hayes, Uxbridge, West Drayton, Ruislip, Ickenham, Hillingdon, and Yiewsley.

Role Details

Role: Supply Primary Teacher - mainstream and independent schoolsStart: Immediate / OngoingContract: Flexible daily supply with opportunities for part-time, full-time, and long-term rolesPay: £150 - £170 per day (PAYE) Long-term roles paid to scale (£180 - £260+ depending on experience)

The Role

As a supply teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• Maintain classroom routines and behaviour expectations
• Adapt quickly to different school environments
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback at the end of the school day
• Represent Tradewind professionally within schools

There is no requirement for long-term planning or meetings in daily supply roles.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in different schools
• Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and supporting pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised overseas teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements accepted for ECTs)
• Strong safeguarding awareness
• Availability for at least 1 day per week
