The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for English.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
• Is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to a team environment.
• Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
