The Role
They are seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their talented London team. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a passion for designing sophisticated electrical systems, managing complex projects, and mentoring junior engineers. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping high-performance electrical systems for diverse and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical excellence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Develop detailed electrical designs, including LV/HV power distribution, lighting, and critical systems.
Oversee feasibility studies, load calculations, and compliance assessments.
Manage client relationships and present design concepts and updates.
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and development.

Secure facilities for the MOD and MOJ.
Mission-critical Data Centres designed for resilience and efficiency.

Software Requirements
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Dialux, or Relux for lighting design.
Familiarity with calculation tools such as Amtech or ETAP for electrical systems analysis.
Knowledge of compliance and simulation tools to ensure standards are met.

Who They're Looking For
A degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or equivalent experience).
Chartered or working towards Chartered status (IET or similar).
Proven experience in delivering complex projects across sectors such as MOD, Healthcare, or Data Centres.
Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.
A commitment to sustainability and innovative design.
