Cover Supervisor

About the Role:

Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role in education? Randstad Education is seeking experienced and proactive individuals to join our team as a Cover Supervisor in the Havering area as soon as possible.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a vital role that ensures students continue to learn and remain on track with their studies. Your main focus will be to maintain a positive and productive learning environment by supervising students and ensuring they complete the work that has been set for them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.

• Effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in line with school policies.

• Provide guidance and support to students, helping them stay on task.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.

• Communicate with school staff regarding any issues or incidents.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with children or students is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confidence and a proactive approach to managing a classroom.

• Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet.

• An Enhanced DBS check is required. Randstad Education can support you with this.

Pay & Benefits:

• £95 - £120 per day, depending on your experience.
