Facade Estimator

We are currently working with a well-regarded Facade Contractor based in London and Essex to find a skilled Facade Estimator. Our client has an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative and high-quality facade solutions on prestigious projects across the UK.

The Facade Estimator will play a key role in the bidding process, providing accurate cost estimates for facade systems and materials, and working closely with the project management team to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project documentation to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for facade systems.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Work closely with the project management team to evaluate and track project budgets.
• Identify potential risks and offer alternative solutions to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• Assist in preparing and submitting tenders and bids.
• Provide value engineering and cost analysis during the design phase of projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry prices and trends.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years' UK experience as a facade estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and the cost structure within the industry.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, bidding, and tender preparation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• A background in construction or a related field, with relevant qualifications.
