Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking to add to their rapidly growing team in the form of a Flexographic Printer. This globally renowned company manufacture labels and supply machinery into the food production industry.

This is working on the night shift, Monday Friday 10pm-6am and some flexibility is required, as overtime is often available.

The Role:

• Promoting and adhering to safe working practices
• Setting up and running the printing presses, mixing inks, colour matching
• Flagging defective material and potential issues
• Monitoring quality from a running press
• Inspecting reel end samples and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality
• Ensuring data is accurately recorded
• Following Work Instructions and Customer Specifications
• Meeting or exceeding performance standards regarding safety, waste, quality, productivity and environmental standards
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
• Actively getting involved with initiatives and projects
• To understand all procedures relevant to the role
• Used to operating to key performance indicators
• Co-operate and participate in continual improvements to the press and wider company environment
• Complete documentation for traceability and BRC

The Candidate:

• Experience operating Flexographic printing machinery (MPS an advantage)
• Attention to detail & quality conscious
• Must be a proactive person
• Must be a reliable team worker but able to use initiative and work with minimum supervision
• Must have a flexible & enthusiastic approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Good troubleshooting skills

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full-time permanent position, working on the night shift Monday Friday 10pm-6am and has a salary up to £40,000.
