A highly inclusive and nurturing primary school in Bromley is seeking a skilled and passionate SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-resourced provision supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other complex learning needs.

As a SEND Teacher, you will lead a small class of primary-aged pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), focusing on tailored, child-centred learning. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the individual needs of your pupils, with the support of experienced teaching assistants and the SENCO.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASC, ADHD and speech & language difficulties
• Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO, therapists, and parents/carers
• Lead a team of support staff to ensure effective learning and progress
• Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly Autism - essential
• Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resilient, reflective and committed to continuous improvement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
