Production Test Operator High Wycombe

Working: The role is office based with occasional travel to other company sites in the UK. Office site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out testing of items in accordance with documented procedures and complete relevant test documentation
• Carry out fault finding to understand any failures and feedback to other departments (Production/Manufacturing Engineering) to aid process improvement
• Repair and maintain test equipment where required
• Support other Test Department personnel as required
• Work to deadlines set by the Production Manager and the Test Systems Manager
• Setup of equipment to perform production testing
• Raise MRBs/defect reports as required

Skills, Qualification and Experience

• Experience testing electromechanical products.
• Good understanding of electromechanical measurement and test principles, and fault diagnosis techniques, with demonstrable experience down to component level.
• Minimum HNC level of Engineering qualifications or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including generation of test specifications, operator instructions and technical reports
• Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
• Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
