The Role :

We are looking for general Cover Teachers to work at our esteemed partnered Secondary School based in Saffron Walden and surrounding areas. As a general Cover Teacher, you will be stepping in for absent teachers, delivering pre-set lessons across various schools, and ensuring that the learning environment remains positive and productive. This role offers the perfect balance of variety and flexibility, making it ideal for experienced teachers looking for a rewarding and adaptable role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
• Maintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Providing support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Following school policies and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Engaging students and encouraging their academic progress.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Child DBS on the update service
• Proven experience in teaching and managing classrooms.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments.
• Passionate about education and student development.
