Junior Import Customer Service Clerk

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an Junior Import Clerk for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder. The company is based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.

Duties:-

Answer phones & liaise with customer

Arrange airline collections/deliveries

Plan import routings & overseas collection

Occasional Invoicing

Tariff Classification

Import License Check

Prepare Import rated airwaybills in support of billings

Preparing of simple quotations

Checking correct use of CPC's & authorisations

Customs Entries ASM/Gems/Sequoia

Filing

Customs Post Entry Submissions/Reclaims

Skills:-

Communication Skills

Customs Entry and Classification experience

Ability to use judgement and put experience into practical everyday use.

IT skills to include: Excel, Word, Outlook.
