Description
As a Stock Controller, you will play a key role in managing stock levels and driving efficiency within the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels across multiple product lines.
- Stock Counting & Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory records. This includes physical counting, data entry, and stock reconciliation.
- Conducting regular stock counts, reconciliations, and investigations into discrepancies.
- Working closely with Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes.
- Supporting the implementation of stock control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaising with internal teams and external partners to resolve stock-related issues quickly and effectively
- Route Planning: Plan and optimize travel routes to ensure periodic stock checks are completed efficiently across different locations.
Profile
The successful Stock Controller candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Management role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Route Planning Experience: Previous experience in planning travel routes and scheduling activities.
- Data Management Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management systems.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
