Commercial Finance Manager into a newly created, high-profile role. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a progressive position with direct impact on a £200M+ P&L, driving strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.The Role As Commercial Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of shaping commercial strategy. Acting as a true business partner, you'll own customer profitability, lead high-value tender processes, and unlock efficiencies through financial insight, innovation, and technology.
Key Responsibilities: - Leading end-to-end tender processes - from commercial critique and NEC analysis through to go-live and post-implementation audits.
- Driving accuracy and insight in monthly revenue reporting (accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, P&L ownership).
- Partnering with invoicing and audit teams to strengthen cost controls and ensure compliance.
- Taking full ownership of customer profitability after six months, analysing variances and influencing commercial decisions.
- Enhancing pricing, costing, and revenue strategies to maximise growth.
- Embedding automation and AI tools to modernise reporting, reduce manual effort, and elevate finance as a strategic driver.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and regional finance teams to challenge performance and identify growth opportunities.
You'll bring: - ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in FMCG or another high-volume, fast-moving sector.
- Strong financial and commercial skills across tendering, revenue recognition, and forecasting.
- Confidence in challenging stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
- Agility to adapt to changing markets, re-forecasting and problem-solving at pace.
- Ambition to step into leadership, with a future remit across costing, pricing, and AR cash audit teams.
