Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Manage the property helpdesk email account, addressing all maintenance issues and potential complaints efficiently.
  • Act as the first point of contact for emergency property maintenance calls from Reed offices.
  • Log requests on the property database and coordinate with contractors to resolve onsite issues promptly.
  • Follow up on job progress, collate quotes, and obtain necessary sign-offs and authorisations.
  • Handle invoice checking and coding for payments.
  • Compile reports from database data and perform ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all properties comply with Fire and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain contracts for all services related to the property portfolio.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Most of the property request come through on email so need to have someone happy with lots of email communication and data input
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional approach to handling internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and determination to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Proficient in using computers, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate issue logging and resolution.
  • Previous experience in facilities, property, or property maintenance roles is preferred
