You will bring together strategy, delivery planning and governance and will have substantial scope to shape the newly formed teams within the directorate.

You will lead on the Institute's strategic contributions to the UK's skills and talent agenda and promoting a high trust public conversation, reviewing work to date and gathering views from stakeholders in order to define and deliver a unique and useful role for the Institute in its next phase.

You will also represent the Institute with key stakeholders such as our core funder, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, universities, strategic delivery partners, funders and government.
