Our school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences and support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The Role:
We are looking for passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants, as well as Sports Coaches, Youth Workers, and individuals with a background in supporting students with SEND to join our team. The successful candidates will work closely with small groups of students, supported by a dedicated team of adults. You will play a crucial role in helping deliver tailored educational programs and ensuring each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students with SEND.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
• Monitor and report on student progress.
• Support students in both academic and social development.
• For Sports Coaches: Deliver engaging and inclusive sports activities tailored to the needs of SEND students.
• For Youth Workers: Provide mentorship and support, guiding students in their personal and social development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary SEND setting (preferred but not essential for other roles).
• Understanding of various SEND needs and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
• Sports Coaches and Youth Workers: Experience working with young people and delivering engaging programs.
