My client is seeking a Financial Adviser with the potential to develop into a senior management role. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong leadership qualities, experience in financial planning, and a proactive approach to building professional connections. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director of DIS and Compliance and involves significant client interaction, networking, and potential staff management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Contact clients to arrange and attend meetings, conducting detailed reviews of their personal and financial circumstances.
- Provide tailored financial advice based on thorough analysis of client needs and objectives.
- Support and potentially lead future business acquisitions and contribute to various marketing and networking activities.
- Manage and support junior staff members and the admin team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Attend and actively participate in a minimum of 10 weekend sponsorship networking events annually, with compensatory time off.
- Contribute articles to the marketing team and present activities and outcomes at meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in financial planning
- Encouraged to obtain Level 3 specialist certificates and Level 6 Advanced Diploma for Chartered status.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility in working hours and travel for meetings.
- Strong networking skills and experience in using social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn for professional purposes.
- Experience in managing staff and office operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development and supporting team members.
