Nursery Practitioner - Lewisham

Remedy Education are currently working with a number of welcoming nurseries across South East London who are looking for passionate and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to support them during the early stages of their learning and development.

The role would suit someone who is nurturing, enthusiastic and confident working within an early years setting, helping to create a safe and engaging environment where children can learn through play.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery and helping to deliver fun and engaging activities that support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You'll work closely with other staff members to ensure every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning and development through play and structured activities
• Creating a safe, nurturing and positive nursery environment
• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging EYFS activities
• Observing and supporting children's development where required
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
• Following safeguarding and nursery policies at all times

Requirements

• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• A caring, reliable and proactive approach
