Quantity Surveyor

We re working with a dynamic and award-winning construction consultancy that s looking to grow its team with the addition of a Quantity Surveyor. Based in East London, this business has earned a stellar reputation for delivering high-quality retail, F&B, hospitality, new build, and fit-out projects across the UK.
The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in shaping cost strategy and delivery across multiple fast-paced, high-profile projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking consultancy with a strong pipeline and big plans for 2025 and beyond.

Key Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

• Lead on cost reporting and cost management to drive value, transparency, and efficiency.
• Develop and manage cash flow and cost tracking tools across all active projects.
• Prepare pricing templates for FF&E and manage tender documentation.
• Contribute to the development of internal cost control systems and procedures.
• Assist with feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments.
• Ensure contractor and supplier compliance with H&S standards while delivering value for money.
• Provide cost support to the Project Management team.
• Deliver value engineering solutions when required.
• Run competitive tender processes and produce clear, concise reports.
• Track and manage changes in design and construction, adjusting budgets accordingly.
• Assist with contract drafting, negotiation, and review for clients, contractors, and suppliers.

About You:

• Strong work ethic and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing fit-out projects in the UK up to £5 million.
• Background in consultancy or contractor environments.
• Confident communicator and team player.
