Location: Redbridge / Reigate Library area

Hours: 15 hours per week

Start: As soon as possible

We are seeking experienced and patient tutors to support a 15-year-old learner with SEND who benefits from a calm, consistent, and understanding approach. The learner is sensitive and requires a supportive environment to build confidence and engagement in Science, Maths, and English.

• 1:1 tuition for a young person with special educational needs (SEND)
• Focus on core subjects: English, Maths, and Science
• Sessions based at Reigate Library (or nearby suitable community venue)
• 15 hours per week (flexible scheduling possible)
• Ongoing, long-term opportunity for the right tutor(s)

• Have experience supporting young people with SEND, including anxiety, sensory needs, or emotional regulation difficulties
• Are calm, patient, and encouraging in their approach
• Can adapt learning to the student's pace and interests
• Hold relevant qualifications and/or experience in teaching or tutoring
• Are reliable, professional, and committed to consistent engagement

• Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in tutoring or teaching (QTS desirable but not essential)

Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
