The Company

My client is a well-established contractor specializing in high-quality internal refurbishment projects across London. With a strong pipeline of work, they are currently delivering two exciting projects: one residential refurbishment in W1 and one commercial refurbishment in EC1.

Both projects are set to run for 12 months, offering stability and a potential temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. However, permanent contracts are also available from the outset.

The Role of the Site Manager

Reporting into the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the successful delivery of internal refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors, and direct operatives to ensure smooth site operations and minimal disruption.
• Implementing and upholding Health & Safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all industry standards.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and the supply chain to maintain effective communication and high-quality project execution.
• Handling site logistics, quality control, and progress reporting to senior management.

Requirements for the Site Manager Role:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on internal refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial refurbishment processes.
• Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Must hold: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
