As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you will:- Provide holistic and evidence-based care throughout the spinal surgery pathway.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team while overseeing patient journeys.
- Advocate for patients, offering specialist nursing advice and emotional support.
- Drive service development and staff education initiatives.
- Utilise excellent communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal Clinical Nurse Specialist will have:- A Children's Nursing Qualification (RN Child or RSCN) with valid NMC registration.
- At least 5 years of post-registration experience in children's nursing.
- A first degree in nursing or a health-related subject.
- A relevant qualification in the specialist area with at least 12 months of experience.
- A mentorship qualification and basic/intermediate paediatric life support skills.
- Experience in audit and research relevant to the specialism.
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes and clinical governance.
