It is a genuine opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to step into a visible, influential position at the heart of a £20 million, owner managed creative business and help shape what comes next.

You will work side by side with entrepreneurial founders where you will influence the commercial and strategic decisions as they are being made. You will influence growth, margins and strategy in real time, whilst having the autonomy to build a finance function that truly adds value across the wider business.

The Opportunity

The business operates in a dynamic, project led environment with milestone driven revenue streams. It needs more than accurate reporting. It needs a commercially sharp finance leader who can translate numbers into insight, clarity and direction.

You will:

• Lead a small team while staying hands on and close to the detail
• Own forecasting, modelling and cash flow visibility
• Partner with commercial and operational leads to shape pricing, margin and performance
• Turn financial data into meaningful, accessible insight
• Support strategic decisions around growth, investment and risk
• Bring structure and rigour without stifling creativity

This is a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves but also thinking two or three moves ahead.

About You

• Technically strong accountant (ACCA, ACVA or CIMA)
• Commercially minded, Curious and Confident enough to challenge.
• Comfortable in an owner managed setting where pace is fast and conversations are direct.
• Experience in a creative, agency or project based environment and understand the nuances of milestone revenue and delivery risk.
• Know how to model scenarios, stress test assumptions and give owners real clarity on what is achievable.

Most importantly, you enjoy being part of the story. Not observing from the sidelines.
