Are you an experienced Buyer with a strong background in sourcing electrical components in the automotive sector? Do you have experience using SAP or the ability to quickly adapt to new procurement systems? If so, we want to hear from you!

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer Electrical Components to join our procurement team. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the supply of critical electrical components, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Identify, source, and procure electrical components that align with technical and quality specifications.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and securing competitive pricing.
• Cost & Risk Management: Monitor market trends, assess supplier risks, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• System & Process Management: Use SAP or other procurement systems to manage purchase orders, track supplier performance, and ensure seamless operations.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain component availability and avoid disruptions.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure all components meet industry regulations and company quality standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, ideally within the automotive, specialist vehicle, or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring harnesses, and vehicle electrical systems.
Experience using SAP or the ability to quickly learn new procurement and ERP systems.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
