Mechanical Estimator

A lead role within our company. This position involves handling the full tender package from the initial receipt of tender to the issuance of a quotation to the client. Mechanical Estimator Duties:

• Review document tenders and raise any RFIs with the client.
• Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment.
• Retrieve costs from suppliers and contractors.
• Perform take-offs as required, conforming to standard estimating conventions.
• Utilize estimating software (e.g., Trimble/Ensign).
• Prepare tenders for internal decisions.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders.
• Participate in the handover of projects to the operation/project teams.

Mechanical Packages Range:

• 1K- 3M, requiring quotations for:
• Air conditioning
• Ventilation
• Plumbing
• Insulation
• Controls and commissioning
• Validations, mainly targeting CatA and CatB commercial works
