Appointed Person

Carmichael UK is currently seeking an Appointed Person for a long-term opportunity based in the Oxford and Buckinghamshire area, specifically within the HS2 project. This role is expected to last up to 2 years, offering a competitive rate of £330 per day PAYE, along with holiday pay and pension benefits.

• Prepare lift plans and method statements in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
• Conduct site inspections to assess equipment and lifting operations.
• Coordinate with site teams and operators to ensure efficient and safe lifting activities.
• Provide guidance and supervision to crane operators and ground staff.
• Monitor and manage the performance of lifting operations, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Must hold CPCS Blue card, SSSTS or SMSTS and be able to pass a safety critical medical.
