Product Manager - Invoicing & Payments

Location: Hybrid - London (2days onsite)Rate: £800 - £825 per day via Umbrella Duration: 6 months with view to extend

Our client is a leading global FinTech payments platform is looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of the Invoicing and Payments product suite, driving innovation across web, mobile, and API experiences.

As Product Manager - Invoicing & Payments, you will shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of tools that enable merchants to get paid faster and manage their finances effortlessly.You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams - design, engineering, risk, data, and marketing - to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions that delight customers and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for invoicing and accounts receivable products.

  • Partner with engineering, design, and analytics to deliver impactful features that enhance seller experience and cash-flow visibility.

  • Use customer insights and data to identify pain points and prioritise high-value initiatives.

  • Work closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure secure, frictionless payments.

  • Lead the delivery of AI-powered automation and predictive tools that help merchants manage receivables more efficiently.

  • Manage the Invoicing APIs, ensuring seamless integration for enterprise and developer customers.

  • Oversee product performance and reporting dashboards, turning insights into business action.

  • Drive go-to-market readiness with marketing, content, and support teams.

Experience needed:

  • 5+ years' Product Management experience within FinTech or Payments

  • Background in Invoicing or Payments
  • Proven record of building or scaling merchant-facing or API-based products.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - able to influence across teams.

  • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
