Our client, a leader in delivering high quality, processed biological materials is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all aspects of Quality Assurance activities are completed to the highest standards, adhering to all applicable regulations and best practices.

This role is offered on a shift basis.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Officer - Pharmaceuticals include:

• Working within and supporting a small Quality Assurance team in line with GxP, Quality and Health & Safety standards.
• Managing the Quality Management System and associated documents.
• Acting as the primary contact for QA across site.
• Providing support during major quality investigations, internal audits, and support the hosting of on-site regulatory audits.
• Analysing deviations and customer complaints to identify trends and suggest improvement strategies.
• Coordinating quality files and review Batch Process Records.
• Managing risks to product quality, data integrity and patient safety throughout the product lifestyle.

To be considered as a Quality Assurance Officer - Pharmaceuticals, you will need the following skills or experience

• Prior experience working in a Quality Assurance Role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrable experience of working with quality documentation and quality management systems.
• Extensive knowledge of sterile aseptic filling and packing manufacturing process.
• Experience conducting root-cause analysis and investigating deviations and GDP incidents.
• Prior experience or working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Strong communication and team-work skills, able to cross functionally communicate with internal departments and customers.
• Previous experience in a clean room or manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
• A BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
