Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading Social Housing Contractor in the Orpington area that are looking for a brand new Business Development Manager to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;
- Drive new business opportunities and manage key client accounts to ensure growth and satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers across sectors like Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Healthcare, and more.
- Leverage ERP systems to track and manage opportunities, quotes, and sales reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit timely bids and quotations.
- Organise and attend client meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
- Support the team with strategic insights, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded.
- Act as a problem solver, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in new business generation and account management, with a focus on growth and results.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in face-to-face and phone interactions.
- Hungry for success and motivated to make a positive impact in your role.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for achieving targets.
- Experience within the social housing sector is preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
