We are a leading contractor specialising in high-performance fa ade and cladding solutions across the commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors. With a strong pipeline of complex and high-value projects, we are seeking a skilled Design Coordinator to join our technical team in Hertfordshire.

The Role:
As Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery. You will coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to ensure all design information is accurate, fully coordinated, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate design activities between clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors

• Review and manage technical drawings and specifications

• Ensure compliance with project requirements, regulations, and standards

• Manage the design programme, identifying and resolving issues proactively

• Liaise with procurement and construction teams to support project planning and delivery

• Maintain accurate records, drawing registers, and design documentation

• Support the handover of design packages to site teams and attend progress meetings as required

Requirements:

• Experience in design coordination within the construction or fa ade/cladding sector

• Strong understanding of building envelopes, cladding systems, and construction processes

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design coordination tools; Revit knowledge is a bonus

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines

• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture
