Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (SEMH)
Location: Southend- on- Sea
Salary: 80 - 110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEMH school in Southend. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them thrive in a nurturing environment.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.
• Assist in the classroom to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in managing their emotions and building positive relationships.
• Work closely with the teaching team to implement tailored strategies.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting children.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
