Trainee Ductwork Air Hygiene and Kitchen Extract cleaning Operative -

This role is for a casual self employed labourer so you will have to do your own self assessment and tax returns.

We are looking for someone to start immediately as an Operative, ideally lives on Canvey Island so you can be picked up for work, most of our work is in London and surrounding areas of the M25 and you will travel to sites in our work van as a two man team. The role involves cleaning of ventilation ductwork systems and kitchen extract grease duct systems, and fire damper testing.

Ideally you will have a cscs card but its not a problem if you dont.

We need someone who is motivated to work hard and a willingness to learn the trade, good communication skills, reliable and can use your own initiative.

You will be on many different sites from building sites, hospitals, offices and restaurants so a keen eye for health and safety and being able to work at height and in confined spaces is advantageous.

You must have a form of identification either a passport or driving licence even a provisional because some sites request this to allow entry to work.

Must be flexible as its Day and Night Shifts and sometimes both in the same week, but this is mainly nights with different start times for different sites so flexibility is a must.

We often work in confined spaces as the work involves cleaning of ventilation ducts within ceiling voids and in plant rooms.

Experience in this field is not necessary as training will be provided on the job.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £90.00 per day
