They are growing and looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join a dynamic team. This is a national role, so flexibility to travel and work away from home when required is essential.
The Role
As a Site Manager, you ll play a critical role in the successful delivery of our construction projects across the UK. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with programme and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the on-site delivery of construction and fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality, and programme expectations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site.
- Maintain site records, including daily diaries, risk assessments, method statements, and site inductions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to the Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
- Ensure materials, labour, and equipment are available on site as required.
- Conduct site inspections and manage snagging and handover processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, ideally in fit-out or M&E projects.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS card (Black/Gold or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away when needed
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
