08:00 - 14:00 FRIDAY

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and professional Standards and Attendance Officer to join our Girls' School team on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role focused on maintaining high expectations of student behaviour, punctuality, and attendance, while supporting the wider pastoral team in creating a calm, respectful and purposeful school environment.

The successful candidate will:

• Be confident and authoritative, with a strong presence around the school
• Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Uphold school policies with consistency and dignity

Key responsibilities include:

• Gate duty and punctuality checks each morning
• Monitoring uniform standards and liaising with families
• Supervising detentions, break and lunch duties
• Communicating with parents regarding attendance and behaviour
• Supporting students with emotional-based school avoidance
• Conducting home visits and working with external agencies
• Recording and reporting attendance data via MIS
• Collaborating with Year Leaders and the Girls' Standards Team

This is a fast-paced role requiring initiative, resilience and a genuine commitment to student welfare. You'll be a key figure in the daily life of the school, helping ensure every student is present, prepared and supported.We reserve the right to close these vacancies early should we receive an overwhelming response.
