SEN Teacher

We are currently working with a highly regarded specialist school on the outskirts of Hertford, who are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a strong background in special educational needs to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with complex learning needs.

• Teaching a small class of pupils with a range of needs, including PMLD, SLD and ASC.
• Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans.
• Leading a team of support staff and working closely with therapists and external professionals.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Using a range of strategies and approaches, including sensory-based learning and assistive technology, to support communication and engagement.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Proven SEN school experience is essential.
• Skilled in adapting the curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
• A patient, resilient, and child-centred approach.
