DOMESTIC APPLIANCE ENGINEER

We are recruiting for a full-time domestic appliance engineer to join a well-established business in the Aylesford area.

Due to growth within the Repair and servicing of their clients cleaning machinery, they are seeking a skilled Appliance Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Diagnosing, Testing and Repairing industrial Vacuums and floor cleaning machines.

Full time hours are 45 per week Mon-Fri 08.00 to 17.30

Duties
Diagnose and repair faulty cleaning machines within the manufacturers guidelines
Effectively communicate the technical diagnosis of the machines to our customers
Work closely with our client base to repair their machines in a timely manner
Be able to read manufacturers schematics to effectively fault find
Accurately record and document all works completed to produce itemised billing
Liaise with Manufacturers and suppliers when ordering parts
Be able to perform off site visits to our customers premises
Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements
Experience in the repair and maintenance of cleaning machinery
Able to work under own initiative and to deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
Competent in the use of computers to diagnose faults
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies in the field of appliance engineering.

Pay: 26,844.00- 32,064.00 per year
