Technical Director

Empro Group is proud to partner with a global leader in real estate services, to find a Permanent Technical Director for their Data Centre Solutions division, based in London. This key role involves leading the establishment, development, implementation, and maintenance of technical standards across the UK portfolio. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the performance and profitability of our cient, ensuring best practices in technical operations and developing strategic engineering directions for future initiatives. You will work closely with account teams and clients, driving excellence in technical compliance and operational delivery.

• Experience at the Technical Manager or Director level within critical and/or data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of hard services M&E infrastructure, data rooms, critical systems, and complex HV and LV systems.
• High level of competency in Critical Environment electrical infrastructures.
• Comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and plant operations within Building Services.
• Up-to-date knowledge of ACOP's, fire, environmental control measures, and building control requirements.
• Minimum HNC qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline; degree level in mechanical or electrical engineering is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a related environment.
• Chartered Engineer status and Authorising Engineer for Permit-to-Work systems are advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a dynamic approach to achieving results.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a management team, leading change and implementing best practices.
