Project Accountant (French Speaking)

About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally renowned design practice, they are seeking a French-speaking Project Accountant to join their friendly and dynamic team in London.

In this pivotal role, you will be based in London yet will work closely with their office based in France, partnering with projects team on all aspects of project finances, including budgeting, risk management, invoicing, and financial tracking. There will be occasional travel to Paris to support with month-end. The ideal candidate will bring experience from the built environment sector, coupled with advanced Excel skills and ideally have Deltek experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review project financials including invoices, orders, subcontractor documents etc
• Post accounts receivable payment receipts accurately, producing weekly collection reports
• Coding and posting purchase invoices
• Produce supplier payment lists
• Set up and maintain projects, producing weekly reports and information relating to project health
• Carry out analysis and other ad hoc project-related finance tasks
• Work collaboratively with the wider project accounting team globally

Keys Skills/Requirements:

• Must be fluent in French
• Previous experience in project accountant position with the built environment
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Proficiency using Deltek software
• Keen eye for detail and highly organised
• Enjoys working in a collaborative manner
• Strong interpersonal skills
