We're hiring for a Planning Director to join our Client team in London on one of the Great Britain's most iconic brands - MINI.
Purpose of the Role As Planning Director you'll play a critical role in the day-to-day running of the account and be a key lead in delivering brilliant communications planning. With the support of a Planning Manager you'll deliver and manage the end-to-end campaign process for MINI - including brand, model launch, and tactical volume-driving campaigns.
You'll be responsible for championing iProspect's experimentation agenda and using our Media planning process to deliver effective & forward-looking communications plans alongside outstanding client service, this is a critical role in delivering on our client's expectations. Moreover, this role will be required to build a productive and successful relationship with MINI's partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities - Through developing a deep understanding of the MINI business & brand, lead the communications planning and day to day management of allocated campaigns.
- Campaign planning across MINI's brand, product and tactical campaigns.
- Ensure we deliver excellence in all aspects of the end-to-end campaign process, working closely with strategists and teams across all specialist channels so that all work we deliver for MINI is of the highest standard and that is upheld throughout the team.
- Be a role model for collaboration, showing that radical collaboration leads to better work, working with teams across all specialist areas to develop pioneering solutions that help accelerate the MINI business.
- Operational and financial accuracy are critical to this role in terms of ensuring our clients budgets and plans are well managed and that we have POs and bill on time.
- Directly manage the planning team members below you (Planning Manager & Executive) and take responsibility & care for their career development
Qualifications + Skills - Media agency background with hands on experience in comms planning is essential.
- Experience in both brand and performance advertising is desired, with brand experience being essential.
- Experience planning for offline/above the line channels.
- Demonstrate an understanding of brand and how to drive brand outcomes along with the role of different media and how it can influence communication outcomes.
- Curious and passionate about the clients' businesses, keen to build knowledge of the categories they operate in and challenges they face.
