Here at NextGen we support forward thinking SEN schools in the South East with recruitment of supply and permanent SEN Teachers.

We are currently supporting a brilliant school in the Croydon area who are looking for a forward thinking SEN Teacher to join their wonderful setting.

The school we are working with is well known for providing a high level of support and care for all of their pupils. Our client provides robust and thorough training and allow staff to learn and progress in their career.

The school are also allowing candidates to come in for the half day/day to see the setting and learn more about the role before formal interviews to ensure that all of the candidates know the role and are interested - no time wasting preparing lessons for a role that is not right for you!

In these roles you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that the delivery covers the diverse need of the students. We are looking for someone with a passion for working within the SEN sector and who wants to create a supportive and nurturing environment.

What we are ideally looking for:

• Ideally holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant relevant experience
• Prior experience within an SEN school or as a specialist SEN Teacher or willingness to transition into a SEN school and embrace the training process
• Proven ability to adapt lessons and teaching methods to suit individual needs
