Salary: £34,000 - £34,300 per annum

Hours: Full-time (40 hours, Monday-Friday)

The Clapham Day Nursery and Pre-school is located in a quite cul-de-sac in Peardon Street and is in 3 storey building.

The Role

Third in Charge Responsibilities:

• Provide age-appropriate, engaging experiences and environments that support children's development.
• Support children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs throughout the day.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on EyLog and children's learning journals.
• Lead by example with fairness and consistency to uphold respect for the role.
• Support the key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
• Maintain accurate records for children and staff using EyMan and physical files.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, parents, and visitors.
• Comply with all statutory EYFS framework requirements.

About You

You're compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference every day.

Essential:

• Level 3 childcare qualification
• Confident written and spoken English

Desirable:

• Experience in an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices
