A high-performing comprehensive secondary school in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dynamic and committed Teacher of History to join their successful Humanities team.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, inspiring students and driving excellent progress.

The department has a strong track record of results and places a real emphasis on modern, relevant and thought-provoking History teaching that builds students' critical thinking and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across KS3-KS5
  • Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment with high expectations
  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Humanities faculty
  • Support wider school life, including tutoring and enrichment activities
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents

About the Department
