Job Requirements/Description
We're undergoing recruitment for Production Operatives for our prestigious client in the Newtown area. Successful candidates will play a vital role in manufacturing and packaging products. This may involve repetitive work, standing for long periods of time and ensuring high quality of products.
Immediate Start
06:00 - 18:00
£12.60 per hour
Main roles and responsibilities:
Adhere to production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
Inspect products for consistency, quality, and labelling accuracy.
Report and address any discrepancies or defects in raw materials or finished goods.
Conduct basic tests to ensure product safety and quality standards are met.
Assemble and label packaging materials according to specifications.
Box, palletise, and prepare products for distribution.
Follow strict hygiene protocols to maintain high standards.
Clean and sanitise equipment, work areas, and tools as per safety standards.
Comply with Health and Safety regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth production.
Assist in troubleshooting machinery and escalating maintenance issues.
Monitor stock levels of packaging materials.
Assist in receiving and storing supplies in designated areas.
Skills and qualities:
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or a similar environment is desirable.
