Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

We are looking for compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants who are eager to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
• Assist with the implementation of Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record students progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote students social and emotional development.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs is desirable.
