Contract: Long-Term, Full Time / Part Time

Salary: Band 5 (Full Time) or Band 6 (3 days per week)
Location: Redbridge, East London
A well-established SEN school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join their team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for practitioners who have completed their competency framework and are confident supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Role Overview: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to pupils with SEN
Assess, plan and implement individual therapy programmes
Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, adapting interventions where necessary
Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams
Provide advice and training to staff to support communication development
Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive school environment
Person Specification: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
Fully qualified and completed competency framework
Previous experience working in UK schools or SEN settings
Confident in assessment, planning and intervention for complex communication needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff
Flexible, professional and committed to improving outcomes for pupils
Hours and Banding Options: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)
Band 6: 3 days per week
Band 5: Full time
