Drainage Engineer

Drainage Engineer - London - £40,000-£50,000+ (DOE) + Overtime

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing property management and maintenance company based in South West London, operating across the whole of the city. They are seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking business where no two days are the same. You'll work across a varied portfolio of properties, carrying out a wide range of drainage tasks and representing a reputable organisation known for quality and reliability.

The Role

As a Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out daily drainage visits based on scheduled appointments
• Performing planned preventative maintenance, camera inspections, lining, and reactive repairs
• Providing detailed job reports using the company's digital reporting system
• Identifying additional works required and supplying quotes where necessary
• Ensuring safe and efficient driving across London
• Delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients

You will be provided with a company vehicle equipped with HPWJ, camera equipment, and a company phone. Additional equipment can be requested where needed.

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for candidates with:

• A full clean UK driving licence (essential)
• CSCS card (desirable - training can be provided)
• Previous experience in drainage engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of drainage materials, tools, and maintenance methods
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities

Salary, Hours & Benefits

• £40,000-£50,000+ depending on experience
• Overtime available
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (occasional weekend work by prior agreement)
• Company vehicle and equipment provided
